Academic Development in Boarding
Trinity School
Each boarder has a personal tutor, who monitors both academic progress and development
outside the classroom. This helps in building up self-confidence and providing the
support that our young people need. Close liaison with academic staff ensures that
boarders' progression in the classroom is monitored and supported.
A structured evening study programme allows boarders to take full advantage of the
teaching staff who are available to assist, as well as giving them supervised access
to the School's ICT and internet facilities (wireless internet access is available
in certain boarding areas and being expanded all the time). Those boarders who require
extra help receive it.
There are weekend revision sessions held during the spring and summer terms for
Year 11 boarders. Our overriding aim is to help our boarders reach their maximum
potential and each of them will work with their boarding tutors, their parents/guardians
and their teachers to this end.
