Luise - 2010 Leaver (written in September 2010)

A few weeks ago, I got my results and I was very surprised that they were so good. Without your and the other teachers' support I could have never achieved these grades. I really enjoyed the biology lessons (and that is one of the reasons why I decided to study medicine at university).

I really miss the Biology and PE lessons (even though I did not take the exam), Boarding and Trinity in general. I never thought I would miss school. Personally, I would say that Trinity is an outstanding school looking at both teachers and students and not to forget about the friendly atmosphere! I was really impressed how teachers and students, both English and international, could live and learn together at Trinity. I felt like a part of the whole school and still seen as an individual, which I have never experienced in Germany before. If I had the choice to go back to England, I would defnitely pack my bags immediatly. :)

 My year in England was an amazing experience for me! I want to thank you for all your support last year. It is been a really great time at Trinity, thanks for everything and Good luck!

Pedro Coelho, Head of School 2004

Pedro, from Brazil, has gone on to study chemistry at Oxford University. In his speech at the end of his year as Head of School he said:

“We shall always speak loud and proud about Trinity, so that the UK will hear, and the world will have to listen, that this is the School where we can make it happen; that this is the School for excellence in every field ranging from drama, sports, the arts and the sciences; that this is the School where we are inspired to develop to our highest potential; that Trinity is, and will forever be, an amazing school.”
